My name is Ashton and I am a photographer by hobby. I mainly specialize in automotive photography with the ability to shoot other things like people and nature. I've been doing it for years with my phone, just recently adopting a Sony A6000 that I shoot on now. I am super excited to show what I can do through a platform unlike Instagram.
More about me:
I am a college student at CSN, studying for my business degree and I'm almost done! I am a creative skater who dances on roller-skates along with my growing addiction to airsoft. Automobiles have always been my hobby and interest, given the opportunity I saw the world's finest rides. I really look forward to posting on here in the future, that be about my photos or my classes!
Photographer by hobby and graduating from using a smartphone to a Sony A6000 camera, how exciting!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your evolution both as a photographer and as a student in IS101 Introduction to Information Systems :-)
Welcome to IS101-3004, Fall 2024, Ashton ^_^
Hi Ashton it is very nice meeting you. I think that is very cool that you do photography as a hobby. I know this class will be very beneficial for you and your photography. Those are some very beautiful pictures and nice rides that you have posted up along with your blog posting.I also enjoy taking photos with my I phone of nature, but have not gotten around to purchasing a camera because I don't think that I will go to a profession that requires it.
ReplyDeleteHi Ashton,
ReplyDeleteYour fascination in photography is admirable and you have a keen eye to good angles. As a former Video Production student I'm not fully aware of much when it comes to photography but they do tend to share a lot of the same properties. The camera you have picked is quite beautiful and when attached to the right lens can get really good shots. Honestly I'm quite jealous because I was only able to use these products while in class and never picked one up myself. I cant wait to see your photography skills blossom!
Hi Ashton!
ReplyDeleteI love your shots! I also love photography as a hobby, that was also the reason I decided to take photography class under my fine arts. We also have the same camera brand and it's amazing! I have a Sony A6400 that I bought recently for my class and I am loving it. I am looking forward to see more of your photographs.
Nice shots Ashton, I think photography is a great skill to have. I am looking forward to your pictures.

Hello Ashton, I share some of your interests with cars more so on the mechanical side than the photo side of the industry and would love to see more of your work and get a more detail on your side of the automotive world.
ReplyDelete"A college student at CSN, studying for [your] business degree and [you're] almost done!" and "A creative skater who dances on roller-skates along with [your] growing addiction to airsoft" whose hobby is automobile photography?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good balance between studying and fun :-)

ReplyDeleteHello Ashton, your passion for photography is evident. I went to school for film production many years ago. You are currently engaging in digital photography. Have you tried taking pictures with film? You may be pleasantly surprised at the images that can be achieved with emulsion. Film Production Technique: Creating the Accomplished Image is a very good read. It deals mainly with film production, but many of the principles apply to still photography. Bruce Mamer is the author.
