What a Semester!

Wow, to think it is the end... just crazy. From the beginning, my digital literacy was pretty good. Typing was a breeze and learning microsoft word couldn't of been easier. Then life hit, I got so busy that I fell behind, so behind that I barely qualified for the Excel exam and so on. Overall the difference I would make would be to spend more time on IS 101 and plan around it. Taking the SAT twice in this semsester and the ACT once ate my time to up to 8 hours a day, let alone anything else in my life. Even in these last two days, my car has broken down twice, and for over 18 out of 24 hours I was working on it. So baseline, plan around IS 101 and make it the primary class so that everything can get done on time.

For A5, I talked out the history of Mclaren automotive, though I went over the time limit on the presentation, I was passionate and provided an example to the class to watch the clock.

How Both LabSims' 4.11.9 and 5.6.8 lessons Improved My Use of Microsoft and My Experience in the Final Steps of IS101

Overall the skill from LabSim, Chapter 4, that was the most useful so far has to be lesson 4.11.9. (Applied Lab: Format a Research Paper with Sections) Mainly because I use it for my other classes including; AP Gov and BUS101. Being able to efficiently use headers, footers in a research paper setting is a time saver and ensures that I format it properly before I submit said research paper to be graded.

Though I do not use Excel much, 5.6.8 (Skills Lab: Enter Simple Formulas) in LabSim still helped me to learn to be more efficient in the app and to better complete my MO-201 Excel exam. As functions were a heavy concept in the exam, this lesson was more than helpful to ensure my success.

Even though I have been soo utterly busy, now that I'm a little freed up on time, I see myself finishing out with an A in IS101. Though the catch up game is real even though I tested well on the exams, there is still a lot to do with all the normal work. Despite that I want to finish IS101 strong!
